Day 1: Arusha - Boutique Lodge

Your journey starts in the safari-capital Arusha, where you will spend your first night in a boutique lodge after we pick you from the airport. Let the African hospitality warm your heart while you prepare yourself for the adventure of a litetime. 

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Discover the majestic Tarangire with its characteristic boababs, elephants and other wildlife during a safari. Spend the night in a chic tented camp, surrounded by sounds of nature.  

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Visit Lake Manyara National Park, walk between the trees with the Tree Walk Way and spot wildlife at the lake. You might even spot the unique treeclimbing lions. Enjoy the night at a beautiful lodge with spectacular views of the Rift Valley. 

Day 4-5: Ngorongoro Crater - Highlands

Explore the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands and experience this UNESCO-world heritage site. Venture into the Crater, meet the Maasai people of these highlands and enjoy an optional hike into the Empakaai Crater. Spend two nights at the Crater rim.

Day 6-8: Serengeti National Park - Luxe Camp

Journey to the endless savannah plans of the Serengeti and stay 3 days in a luxurious camp. Go on gamedrives, spoil yourself with delicious meals, relax at the pool and experience the magic of a hot balloon safari at sunrise above the Serengeti-plains. 

Day 9-13: Zanzibar - Stonetown and White sandy Beaches

Fly to magical Zanzibar and explore the rich history and culture of Stonetown. Enjoy a historical city tour and be enchanted by the fragant Zanzibari kitchen and sounds of Taarab-music. Relax at the white sandy beaches in this tropical paradise. Go snorkling, swim with wild dolphins, enjoy delicious meals, massages and the feeling of completely being taken care of.

Day 14-15: Julius Nyerere National Park - River Safari

End your trip with a unique safari experience in the exlcusive Julius Nyerere National Park, only a 20-minute flight away from Zanzibar. Stay in a camp at the Selous-river, go on a boatsafari and enjoy spotting wilflife from the river. 

Optional: Extensions to Mafia Island, Ruaha National Park, or Mahale National Park

The 'Loving Africa' trip can be extened with a visit to the tropical paradise of Mafia Island to swim with whalesharks, a safari to the impressive herds of wildlife in Ruaha National Park, or by taking a flight to the remote Mahale National Park and Lake Tanganyika to meet chimpansee in the wild.
